Alien Swarm is …
AMAZING!! even if it wasn't free via Steam download ( Alien Swarm) it would still be well worth a price tag of ~$20.
Gameplay is super smooth and the Contra overhead/side scroll feel is pretty fantastic! Of course there's achievements and upgrades per just bout every Steam release these days.
Overall WELL WORTH the free price tag and time investment.
9 out of 10 lolz!
