Why you dont need to buy the NFL Sunday Ticket package ever again..
That’s right…its that time of year again! AMERICAN FOOTBALL TIME! *aka best time of the year* Its great when your team is on Fox/CBS/NBC or NFL Network but what if your team is shown on a local station in another state? The solution used to be buying the NFL Sunday Ticket which is only available to DirecTV customers…oh yea it also cost $300!!
With the evolution of steaming technology, particularly over the past 2 years, there is no reason to buy any NFL package of any kind. Every game will be streamed on the internet and its simply a matter of knowing where to look to find the game you wish to watch.
Here is a list I’ve comprised of sites that will be showing all the NFL games:
Veetle (my personal favorite)
- can stream flawless HD which looks incredible on the TV via the 'ol HTPC
- streams to iPhones and iPads without the need to download software. simply go to veetle.com inside of the Safari mobile phone browser and voila!
- as a bonus if the game is a snorefest you can simply change veetle channels and watch a random movie =]
- another great site that lists every NFL games with a mass variety of links
- also has every other sport steam imaginable
- haven't used this site before but it appears to be very nice and obviously totally dedicated to the NFL
- lists the schedule of all NFL games with available steams which is a HUGE plus
- doesn't look like they've updated with the 2010/2011 schedule but I'm sure they will judging by the forums posts
- least well known site in the list but has most if not all NFL games and some very hard to find events

sittin @ home alone one night i decided to read a lil bit of lifehacker.com and ran into OSX through VirtualBox and decided to give it a whirl...
needless to say it was super ez to setup and worked first try! they've come a LONGGGG way since I first started messing with it in 2004..
